Went to the Petaluma Corn Maze on a preschool trip today. Hot and sunny, a beautiful day. This pumpkin is probably too small to carve.

We are now at the three-season-a day weather. Foggy mornings, sunny mid-day, and foggy afternoons. This morning was so odd to drive along 18th and see the fog obscuring twin peaks, while I put on my sunglasses and fought the glare.

I was going to make spicy garlic chicken pizza tonight, but Andy’s coming home late. Maybe tomorrow.

I feel as if I am in a no-man’s land between drawing and painting. I want to be working with big clumps of things, the general, larger action, not the tiny details. I am wrestling with this idea and how it relates to my materials.
