Because it’s a holiday weekend and we have had no evening plans, we have been relaxing with a much-deserved cocktail in the evening. Lemon margaritas have been the drink of choice–one part lemon juice, one part triple sec and one part tequila and lots and lots of ice. Delicious.

Two that didn’t make it into the bag; their color is at once vibrant and withered.

Showed up on my computer late Sunday night and I have spent the last 48 hours with technical support walking me through the reinstallation of my operating system. Ugh! All data lost, thank goodness for sketchbooks, paintings and blogs, all of which exist outside of my hard drive!

Every sunday, usually about an hour and a half long conversation with his mother. I hope 34 years from now my youngest calls me every sunday night, too.
