this phrase kept running through my mind as I worked on #24 and #25 for The Hundred Paintings Project and then I responded to the muddled canvases with this drawing–I like using my sketchbook in a call and response type of way–rather than creating a “finished” drawing.

I am almost a quarter of the way through The Hundred Paintings Project! Three made it up onto the site today and I hope to have two more posted by tomorrow.

Still adjusting to a new time zone, a new schedule in the house (both kids at preschool!!) and a fever that seems to have attacked one of us tonight. AND, when I took this image, it was inexplicably blurry. Hmm.

Arrived home. Fridge empty. Takeout for dinner.
