My 22 month old son has the stomach flu. Cheerios are about all he can manage right now…

We just had our last round of landscaping done in our tiny yard–we actually have grass, now!

This new sketchbook is feeling great. I love how it accepts whatever media I am using–this is watercolor and collage. I also prefer the white paper to the off-white of the moleskine….

It is friday night. The kids are in bed. Bird is on his way home. Finally, silence! A glass of wine and some rice crackers to tide me over to dinner.

This is a mustard pot that I use for salt. This is also my new sketchbook. I really like the paper!

Daylight savings–a cup if tea at 4pm while the sun began to get lower in the sky…this is strathmore postcard paper and I don’t like it as much as what I used on the last drawing–but it’s all a vast improvement from the moleskine paper!

My third Moleskine notebook is filled and I am waiting for a new watercolor notebook to arrive from the Sharon Art Center in NH. This is on watercolor paper–so nice to be away from that horrible moleskine sizing!

Made a spinach salad tonight with avocado, apple and bacon. And I want to wish Ellen a very happy 38th! I love you!
